Traveling to Nantucket
Because Nantucket Island is located 30 miles at sea, travel to the island requires a bit of advance planning. The island is accessible by ferry or by air and during the summer months scheduled flights and ferry crossing are frequent but require reservations, especially if you are hoping to bring a car.
